Creating an Industrial Empire in 19th Century Parallel World
In a tragic accident, mechanical engineer Poul Nielsen and his best friend, civil engineer Jonathan Axelsen, lose their lives when a truck crashes into the coffee shop where they were enjoying their afternoon. But death isn’t the end — instead, they find themselves transmigrated into a parallel world, the late 19th-century country of Avalonia.
Here, they’re thrown into a world that’s far from their own, one where survival means working tirelessly to scrape by. Yet, survival is not enough for Poul and Jonathan. They have grand ambitions: they won’t just get by, they aim to leave their mark on history. They dream of becoming the Edisons, the Chryslers, the Rockefellers, the Carnegies, the Fords, and the Westinghouses of this new world.
