In the depths of a newborn universe, a cultivator spends 14 billion years refining a treasure, but eventually grows bored. He decides to entertain himself by releasing countless systems into the universe and watching how its creatures handle them.
On Earth, a young man, confused about his life’s direction, makes a wish on a shooting star. He wakes up to hear a strange voice: “Assimilation complete. Launching System. Welcome to the Midnight Inn. Host Designation: The Innkeeper.”
Now, he is thrust into a new role, running a mystical inn in a universe full of strange beings and powerful forces.
